A 19th century Louis Phillippe period salon table featuring nine hand-painted porcelain plaques surrounded by beautiful gilt bronze mounts. The large central roundel depicts a half-length portrait of an older Louis XVI surrounded by nine smaller portraits of identified members of court set on a walnut ground that is detailed with ormolu egg and dart trim. The walnut pedestal base is enhanced with gilt floral garlands, acanthus leaves and scrolling foliate supports.
