19th Century Hand Made Oversized Sterling Silver Tea and Coffee Service Set


This beautiful sterling silver set is chased with repoussé  work done by hand and reminiscent of the late Victorian style that included oversized, extravagant pieces. This set includes a hot water kettle, cream and sugar jar, milk jug, coffee pot, and tea pot with platter. The set was made in the 1860's by Peter Krider of Philadelphia and sold by the B.H. Steif Jewelry Company in Nashville, TN. It was sold to the founder of The Geneva Steel Company located in Utah.
