A honey-coloured oak eighteenth century buffet or sideboard with green fossil top with a moulded edge above three cabinet doors with silver self mortise hinges and the door fronts decorated with carved relief details in the corners. The sides are carved with a simple panel form and are flanked by rounded corners with carved foliate design. The double doors opening to a large compartment and two drawers with brass pulls. Below the doors is a scallop-carved apron, which continues around the sides, and the entire piece stands on squat carved cabriole front legs, and square back legs.
