This full-size replica evokes the richly decorated armor worn by Charles V (Carlos V) and Philip II during Spain’s Golden Age. Toledo—renowned for sword- and armor-making since the Middle Ages—remains one of the foremost centers of traditional metalwork. Produced in the late 20th century by Marto, a Toledo workshop specializing in historical reproductions, this armor demonstrates the craftsmanship, strength, and symbolic grandeur that once defined the Spanish empire. Complete with a hand-etched breastplate, articulated greaves, helmet, and a longsword, it echoes the ceremonial splendor of the originals housed in the Real Armería in Madrid.
