A serpentine shelf sits on on a similarly shaped bandeau with moulded border design and carved scroll work that meets at a central carved medallion form. The moulded jambs are in the form of curved and tapered pilasters moulded with centre cartouches. The interior opening measures 33 ½ x 62 in.
