Pair of Meiji Cloisonné Lamps with French Ormolu Fittings


Two beautiful Japanese vases, dating to the third quarter of the nineteenth century and featuring birds flying through cherry blossoms. The lamps were fitted with gilt bronze (i.e. ormolu) mounts and etched glass oil lamps before the turn of the century.
