Pair of 19th Century Celadon Baluster Vases


A pair of 19th century celadon baluster vases, the wide body incised with confronting roosters between bands of stylized upright leaves at the waisted neck and foot, attached to a pierced and carved footed brass base. The incised lip decoration differs on each vase: line and dots on one vase, and a meander or Greek fret motif on the other.
