Nepalese Crystal Goddess Swetavarahi
The four Vahari are Newari (or Nepalese) boar-faced goddesses that protect Temples in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. This rare, rock-crystal sculpture surrounded with generous amounts of gold and semi-precious stones depicts Swetavarahi (or Sukarasya), the white goddess of the South, who protects against disease and evil.
