Made to adorn the bedroom of a wealthy upper middle class home in France, this armoire was crafted from exotic woods by a fine Paris maker in the mid-19th century. It boasts an intricately carved central crest comprised of neoclassical motifs, beautiful burled veneer throughout the exterior, and a hand-beveled mirror. The finished interior has four adjustable shelves and a locking drawer. The base of the armoire also contains a locking drawer.
