An original watercolor created by the artists Thomas William Camm (British, 1839-1912) for a Church commission. Camm is considered one of Great Britain's most talented designers of stained glass. Before production on a monumental work of stained glass was begun, Camm would create a series of conceptual sketches. This is a final study shows depicts a five panel stained-glass depiction of Luke 24, verses 5-6: "In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, 'Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen!'"
