A French Louis XV style commode of bombe form with a herringbone veneer, the serpentine shaped front fitted with two drawers, each inlaid with marquetry floral bouquets and mounted with finely chased ormolu pulls and escutcheon plates, flanked by canted corners decorated with conforming ormolu mounts that lead to cabriole legs terminating with brass capped sabots, and fitted with a variegated rouge and cream marble top.
