"Crossing the Divide" by Sherry Salari Sander

Wildlife sculptor Sherry Salari Sander grew up in Northern California and began art training as a potter.  She has since solidified a reputation as awildlife sculptor, known for expressive portrayals in bronze.  Sander lives near Glacier National Park in Montana, where she established a 300-acre wildlife preserve.  Her award-winning sculpture is informed greatly by first-hand observation of wildlife in the surrounding landscape.  Sanders also travels extensively to gather material for her work, including sojourns to Alaska and Africa.
