A pair of cast bronze bookends depicting the head of Abraham Lincoln, after the original model of Lincoln for Mount Rushmore by American sculptor Gutzon Borglum (American, 1867-1941). The back of each bookend is inscribed: 1936 The original mold of Lincoln's head was given me by Gutzon Borglum sculptor of the memorial at Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills of South Dakota/Anne Davis Thorne. Measures: 5 ½ x 4 x 3 ½ inches.
