A Monumental French St. Hubert Deux Corps Cabinet
An exceptionally made, nineteenth-century St. Hubert cabinet, with the base featuring two large circular medallions with full-relief sculptural groups of carved starlings on the left and quail on the right. The center of the cabinet has two griffins holding the top of the cabinet with central carvings of renaissance-revival forms and the entire work surmounted by a broken pediment that is centered with a large, swooping, virtuosic carving of grape clusters and leaves.
