Irene T. Fletcher (1900 - 1969), was a student of H. Reuben Reynolds and Calvin Fletcher at the Utah State of Agriculture College in Logan, Utah, in 1926. She developed a controlled regionalist style. She was a member of the Modern Art Movement of Utah, an informal organization that Don Goodall, organized in 1941. Fletcher earned the purchase prize at the Utah Institute of Fine Arts Exhibition of 1947, and her work was exhibited at the Utah State Fair and at the Utah Institute of Fine Arts. The framed measurements are: 23.5 x 23.5 inches, and the work is signed "IF 1929" in the bottom right.
