Pair of 19th Century Atelier Bulteau-Goulet Porcelain Plaques


Late 19th century French porcelain plaques made by Atelier Bulteau-Goulet, who produced religious stained glass windows in churches and cathedrals throughout France in the late 19th century into the early 20th century. The first plaque depicts the "Flight out of Egypt" after Heinrich Hofmann (German, 1824 - 1911), and "Jesus in the House of Mary and Martha". Both decorated en grisaille in enamels on porcelain and signed lower edge.
